         Another fabulous Indian inspired meal!

The recipe for the naan can be found here: http://www.gather.com/viewArticle.jsp?articleId=281474977492038&nav=MyGather

1 lb lean ground beef
1/2 cup corn flour (can use chickpea or regular)
1 small onion, minced
1 clove garlic, minced
2 T Chappati Kabab mix (from Indian markets)
1/2 t garam masala (optional)
1 egg, beaten
small bunch fresh cilantro leaves, chopped
ghee (clarified butter) for frying
naan bread
feta cheese
sliced tomato
plain yogurt
dried mint

Mix beef through cilantro. Cover and refrigerate 30 minutes. Remove and shape beef into 3" tube shapes (mixture should make about 10).http://media-files.gather.com/images/d231/d270/d745/d224/d96/f3/full.jpg

Heat the ghee over medium high heat in a large cast iron skillet or frying pan. Fry beef til golden brown on each side, and meat is cooked through. (Remove one from the pan and cut in half to check). Remove to paper towels to drain. Sprinkle with salt.

Serve a couple kababs in a slice of naan with tomato and sprinkled with feta. Serve a dish of yogurt sprinkled with mint alongside.http://media-files.gather.com/images/d230/d270/d745/d224/d96/f3/full.jpg
