Muffuletta Sandwiches with Giardiniera
I've made something like these sandwiches before, but not with the homemade giardiniera. It really kicked them up a few notches!
sliced Genoa salami
thin sliced smoked ham
sliced provolone cheese
Muffuletta loaf (I used homemade)
Cut the finished loaf in quarters, and scoop out a little of the inside. Brush inside with olive oil.
Layer salami, ham, and provolone inside bread wedges. Sprinkle with giardiniera and serve.

I love muffuletta sandwiches. I had my first in New Orleans on my honeymoon and have been hooked since.
