Smoked Turkey Wraps
We had a fabulous lunch today- the herbed cream cheese really makes this a great sandwich.
2 large burrito size flour tortillas
3 oz Herbed Cream Cheese (recipe follows)
shredded romaine lettuce
smoked turkey, sliced
sliced cheese (I used Jarlsburg)
avocado, pitted and sliced
jarred artichokes, drained and chopped
red onion, thinly sliced
tomato, sliced (optional)
Herbed Cream Cheese
3 oz cream cheese, softened
pinch each: basil, marjoram, garlic powder, paprika (or your favorite herbs and seasonings)
fresh parsley, snipped
salt and pepper
In a small bowl, mix cream cheese and seasonings. Let sit for at least 30 minutes to meld flavors. Taste and adjust as desired.
Divide and spread cream cheese on tortillas, leaving a 1" border around the edge.
Add ingredients (except tomato) and fold up sides and bottom. Roll lightly. Cut in half and serve with sliced tomato.
I served our wraps with chips. That's a wrap!
